This past Christmas, my husband and I decided that we would start a family collection of portrait. We already had two caricatures from before LM was born.
One before we were married
and one from our Disney honeymoon.
Why not keep it going? Our present to each other for Christmas 2012 was a portrait by Hunter Haines. (You can find him on Etsy.) This time we had LM and Mr. Tibbs in it with us!
Recently, my husband had been talking to a very good friend of ours about getting into this whole portrait business. He's a comic book artist and he brings a really unique twist to the portrait world.
That's right, we're super heroes!
My two favorite details are that fact that LM flys,
and my glasses, of course!
My husband had ours made into canvas, which is why it looks huge.

Oh my goodness we had a caricature done on a recent trip to San Francisco-- it was pretty bad. I almost forgot about it.
